Vintage NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN Items (5) Navajo, Ike Wilson tray + (5I6)

  
Wonderful lot of 5 very interesting and fine old Native American Indian Navajo objects and Jewelry, most daring to early 20th Century (c1935). For sale in this fabulous lot are 2 small vintage Sterling Silver footed trays with very nice stamped ornamentation.

Ike Wilson Oval Tray: The oval Sterling Silver footed Tray / Sterling footed ashtray is signed with the hallmark of Austin Ike Wilson (bow & arrow hallmark). Hallmark is located on the reverse. It's ornate stamped designs in this piece are stunning. The four feet on the reverse are fluted and we believe they are copper. It measures approximately 5" x 3" inches.

This vintage Navajo sterling footed ashtray is in excellent condition with little wear. There are expected normal surface scratches and some tarnish that can easily be hand polished clean. This is very beautiful and very well made piece and has significant heft.

Austin (Ike) Wilson is a well known Navajo silversmith whose work is highly collected today. The tray is unmarked but guaranteed to be at least 925. (Note the rectangles on the reverse were where our inventory tags were and are not permanent). Round Tray: The small round Sterling Silver footed Trinket tray, also of significant weight.

Trays has a wonderful stamped design and fluted border. It stands on four ball feet. No hallmark for maker or Sterling mark but we guarantee the tray to be at least 925, Sterling. It measures approximately 3 diameter. The vintage Navajo sterling footed tray is in excellent condition with almost no wear. There are expected surface scratches.

: In this lot are 2 long flat Hair Ornaments? Both unmarked Sterling Silver one with a very dark patina (we didn't remove tarnish except in a small area on the reserve, as some collectors prefer to keep the aged patina). The tarnished piece has two stones set at the top (the largest is goldstone) and the other stone is unidentifiable. This piece has stamped designs on the front surface.

The open work top piece measures approximately 5 1/2 inches long. The tarnished one with stones measures approximately 6 inches long. Both are of good weight and in good condition with expected minimal wear on the front. Tarnish, scratches and abrasions on their reverses. Sterling Belt Buckle / Signed MP Sterling & Turquoise Conch Buckle: vintage signed Sterling Silver Conch Belt Buckle with a Turquoise stone in the center of the tiered Sterling Conch. It has fabulous ornate decorations varying their to tier. The piece is marked Sterling with the hallmark MP on the reverse in the center. It measures approximately 2 3/4" in long by 2 1/4" inches wide. Some area of tarnish visible which can be easily hand polished clean. The Sterling bar for the belt on the underside belt has oxidation (can be hand polished clean).

The vintage Navajo American Indian Conch Sterling Silver Belt Buckle with Turquoise has significant weight (Pawn weight) and is in excellent condition with almost no wear. This piece likely dates to the late 1960's - early 1970's. The items show very well in the photos! Photographs were taken with and without a camera flash. Note there are light and dark reflections while being photographed.
